Dr Maurizio Cavallini is the Vice President of SIES (Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery), head of the dermatosurgery, dermatology and aesthetic medicine service of the Italian Diagnostic Center in Milan, and editor in Chief of “Update in Plastic Surgery”, official journal of the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery.

Dr Cavallini is a member of numerous Italian and European scientific societies, including the European Association of Aesthetic Surgery, of which he has been Vice President since 2008, the Italian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SIPCRE), AICPE (Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and AITEB (Italian association of aesthetic therapies with botox).

Dr Cavallini has been Professor of Master in Aesthetic Surgery at the School of Specialization in Plastic Surgery at the University of Milan since 2007, professor of the II level Master in Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Genoa since 2008, professor at the Post-University School of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan since 2002; lecturer at the Master’s Degree in Medicine and Cosmetic Surgery at the University of Parma and at the University of Sassari since 2021.

He has published over 100 articles in national and international specialized journals and has spoken at numerous national and international conferences on plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine.
