Dr Regina Khater is chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Plastic Surgery (BulAPRAS). She teaches at the Medical University Plovdiv, and leads the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (PVEH), as well as the Department of Complex Treatment of Breast Cancer (Breast Unit) at Uni Hospital General Medical Treatment Facility, Panagyurishte.

Dr Khater is a specialist in general surgery and plastic-reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She is certified by the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery EBOPRAS, as well as the French College of Plastic Surgery CFCPRE.

Dr Khater’s dissertation in regenerative medicine is on the topic “Autologous fat transplantation and deals with general plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, as well as microsurgery”.
